Founded in 1977, PT. Tempu Rejo (TR) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Universal Leaf Tobacco Co. Based in Jember, East Java, Indonesia. PT. Tempu Rejo is a leader in purchasing and handling of various types of wrapper and filler tobacco styles used around the world for a variety of cigar, pipe, chewing and cigarette products. PT. Tempu Rejo prides itself in its expertise in the sorting and presentation of fine wrapper tobaccos. With all the business developments, we are seeking the best candidates to join our company with the following qualifications and job description:
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply (Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).
- Have Minimum 2 years of experience in HSE/OHS, preferably in the Tobacco or manufacturing industry, is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of EHSS regulations and labor laws related to workplace health and safety.
- Holding an AK3 Umum certification from the Ministry of Manpower is a plus.
- Experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, JSA, CSMS, Work Permit.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
Job Description:
- Lead to implement EHSS program in his area, such as staff walkdown, Briefing BBS, Daily Activities
- Assist when an accident happens and provide preliminary report for further investigation
- Conduct hazard identification and risk assessment.
- Ensure and supervise the implementation of EHSS procedures to comply with company and government EHSS regulations.
- Prepare regular reports related to the implementation of EHSS in the company.
- Provide information, regulations, standards, and applicable EHSS procedures in the company in case of updates to relevant employees.
